The stay was mainly for Oktoberfest, and it was what I expected considering the busy time. The location was convenient for getting to the festival, though the room felt quite dated and lacked proper air conditioning, making it uncomfortable at times. The breakfast was extensive and a true highlight. There were plenty of options to choose from. While I found the noise from pipes a bit bothersome, especially since I am a light sleeper, the overall cleanliness and accessibility made up for it.

Suits for rest, can't help but recommend. Have to say I appreciated well-stocked breakfast. Well-organised and a nice size rooms with 3 beds are accompanied by good service. The staff is really helpful...

Let me break it down for you
This hotel offers a charming breakfast buffet that exceeds expectations. Conveniently nestled near a U6 train station, it ensures easy access to the city's highlights. Just be aware that rooms can be a bit outdated and lacking in certain comforts like air conditioning, lending a mixed feel to your stay.

good price, very friendly staff, food ok, free internet
Bed is too small. Room is very simple (one old chair in a twin room). To use WLAN one needs to re-logon every 30 minutes.

The charming local park, just a few steps from the hotel, was perfect for a leisurely morning walk, and the proximity to eateries like Stemmerhof made it super easy to grab a bite or drink after exploring the city. Single rooms are simple yet cozy, providing great value for your weekend adventure.

i was travelling with my parents and we stayed at Hotel Carmen. The lady at reception was absolutely lovely and very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good too, and location was nice - slightly far from centre but very accessible with metro.

Friendly helpful staff; excellent breakfast buffet, Secure Wifi available in the room enabled by the reception staff, room was cleaned & refreshed daily and all at a very reasonable cost,
My party had a baby buggy which had to negotiate the 3 steps at the main entrance. Wheelchair access would be nice.

It was just a great fit for a couple of nights in Munich with reasonable value. The breakfast was fine, could use some fresh fruit. Tip, arrive early if you need parking, it fills up fast.
